Let me start off by saying wow! What a journey this has been so far. Never did I think a global pandemic could have affected our lives as it has. When I ordered the first half cow, I never in my right mind thought it could turn into this.
I initially ordered the first 450 pounds of beef to make sure my family and friend’s freezers were stocked for the strange and hard times ahead. Hysteria was in the air, and my thought process led me to think, hm, how can I help the community prepare for the tough times ahead? I never intended to make a business of this, but I guess that’s what happens.
A HUGE thank you to our loyal customers for their continued support, without you all, this would never be a reality. I want to thank the Lean Times Staff, Zacc Ledford, Phil Hersey, Taylor Dallis, Daniel Bangert, and Jason Broaddus for working countless hours to maintain our quality of service. Last but not least, thank you to our farmers! You all are literally the backbone of our great Community.
Lean Times is working very hard to not only source local meats from our community partners but working on big plans for our own sustainable farm!
